Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before booking a tour with YasothaborakTours. By submitting a booking enquiry or making a payment, you agree to these terms.

1. About YasothaborakTours

YasothaborakTours is a licensed private tour operator based in Siem Reap, Cambodia, operating under a guide licence issued by the Ministry of Tourism of the Kingdom of Cambodia. We provide private guided tours, cooking classes, and cultural experiences in the Siem Reap and Angkor region.

2. Booking & Confirmation

• Bookings are made by submitting the enquiry form on our website or contacting us via WhatsApp or email.
• A booking is confirmed only once we have replied in writing (email or WhatsApp) confirming your date, tour, and number of guests.
• For groups of 5 or more, or multi-day bookings, a deposit of 30% may be required to secure your dates.
• We recommend booking at least 48 hours in advance. Same-day bookings may be accepted subject to guide availability.

3. Pricing

• All prices listed on our website are in US Dollars (USD) per person.
• Prices are correct at the time of publication but may change without notice. The price confirmed in your booking confirmation email is the price you will pay.
• The Angkor Archaeological Park Pass is not included in any tour price and must be purchased separately by the guest ($37/day, $62/3-day, $72/7-day).
• Meals are not included unless specifically stated in the tour description.

4. Payment

We accept the following payment methods:

• USD Cash — paid to the guide at the end of the tour
• ABA Bank Transfer — details provided on request
• PayPal — details provided on request (3% surcharge applies)

Payment is due at the end of the tour unless a deposit has been arranged. We do not accept credit or debit cards directly.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Notice Given	Cancellation Fee
More than 48 hours before tour	Free — full refund of any deposit
24–48 hours before tour	25% of total tour price
Less than 24 hours before tour	50% of total tour price
No-show (no notice given)	100% of total tour price

Cancellations must be communicated via WhatsApp or email. The time of your message is the time used to determine the cancellation tier.

6. Rescheduling

We are happy to reschedule your tour at no charge if you give us at least 24 hours notice. Rescheduling within 24 hours is subject to guide and vehicle availability and may incur a $5 administration fee.

7. Cancellation by YasothaborakTours

In the rare event that we must cancel your tour (e.g. guide illness, severe weather, government restriction), we will notify you as soon as possible and offer you either:

• A full rescheduling at no extra charge, or
• A full refund of any deposit paid

8. What Is Included & Excluded

Each tour listing on our website clearly states what is included and excluded. Please read the tour detail panel before booking. As a general rule:

• Included: Licensed guide, private transport, hotel pickup & drop-off, bottled water
• Excluded: Angkor Pass, meals, personal travel insurance, tips, alcoholic drinks

9. Guest Responsibilities

• Guests must comply with temple dress codes (shoulders and knees covered at all Angkor sites).
• Guests must behave respectfully at all religious and cultural sites.
• Guests are responsible for their own personal travel insurance. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance before your trip.
• Guests with mobility limitations, medical conditions, or special needs should inform us at the time of booking so we can tailor the tour appropriately.
• YasothaborakTours reserves the right to refuse service to guests who are visibly intoxicated or behaving in a manner that endangers themselves, others, or cultural heritage sites.

10. Liability

YasothaborakTours takes every reasonable precaution to ensure the safety and enjoyment of your tour. However, we are not liable for:

• Injury, loss, or damage caused by the guest's own actions or negligence
• Loss or theft of personal belongings during the tour
• Changes to site opening hours or access restrictions imposed by the Angkor Conservation Authority (APSARA) or the Cambodian government
• Weather conditions, road closures, or other force majeure events beyond our control

11. Photography & Privacy

We may take photographs during tours for use on our website and social media to showcase the tour experience. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform your guide at the start of the tour. We will never publish photos of guests without their consent.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Cambodia. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Siem Reap Province, Cambodia.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
